LEVERAGE ON THEM. You're in love with a particular person, another person surfaced and your heart begins to change position. It's even possible for you to be in love with three persons at a time. Married people aren't exempted. ♦️Feelings are unstable. You will agree with me that, there are cloth we wear that makes us feel we are on top of the world , while some other cloth makes us feel "poverty" is written on our forehead ,even when people around think otherwise. ♦️Feelings are unstable. Oh! I'm famished. If I get home, I will devour three wraps of fufu. Finally, you're home and you stomach seems too small to contain just a wrap. ♦️Feelings are unstable. You gazed at the mirror and you loved the image looking back at you. Few minutes later, a good looking friend came to visit and you begin to feel like a ugly duckling. ♦️Feelings are unstable. Don't allow your feelings rule you. God create those feelings and he uses them to wo...

PRE-WEDDING PRAYER RETREATS Listen, I know that pre-wedding photos and bridal showers are awesome, I know it creates good memories for the couples and helps them bond intimately. I know how exciting it is to dress up in matching outfits with your spouse to-be and just have fun creating lasting memories with amazing photos and night parties with your gang. It is totally cool, but I just hope you also understand that as believers things are always a lot different for us, we don't just rush into a trend because everybody else is doing it, or because it is cool, what comes first is how much that fashion or trend adds to our christian life, i mean, how spiritually relevant is it to our love and walk with God? Please forgive me if I am sounding like a killjoy, but rather than surround yourself with friends who will dress up in white outfits and take photos with you in a hotel room to post on social media, why don't you keep a small circle of fire-branded friends that can join you ...

Lagos state governor,Babajide Sanwo-Olu has expressed his desire to meet the young boy who was seen in a viral video asking his mom to ‘calm down’ after offending her. He commended the lad for this sobriety and urged Lagosians to emulate and demonstrate his Self-Restraint at this time the world is combating the scourge of COVID-19. In his words; “I saw a video of one charming young boy online asking his mom to ‘calm down’ as she was set to punish him for his misdemeanour. I was moved by his sobriety, which reflected in his promise of “last chance”, when confronted with the fact that he is a regular offender. The exchange was indeed funny, but it depicts the efforts parents put in moulding children into responsible adults. I want to assume that his mom indeed calmed down because the appeal was moving enough to make anyone change their mind. Interestingly, the video inspired this special message to the good people of Lagos State because of the deeper meaning it conveys. Fellow Lagosi...

21 Questions Your Daughter Really Needs You to Ask Her by Lisa My daughter was only about 12 at the time. No longer a little girl, but not quite a woman. Somewhere in between the two. I could see there was so much going on in her heart and mind, and I desperately wanted her to let me in. When she was very young, she used to chatter on about most anything that popped into her head. But I found that had slowly changed over time. She wasn’t quite so forthcoming and kept more to herself. And it concerned me. So I invited her for a walk one warm summer afternoon and told her that I hoped she’d always feel comfortable talking to me about her thoughts, fears, and dreams. I waited to hear her response, but she stayed silent for the longest time as we continued walking side by side. Finally, she said, “So ask me.” Confused, I responded with, “Ask you what?” And she replied, “Ask me anything.” That’s when I realized that she had been waiting for me to ASK. That ...
