Bulelwa Shares Her Experience Growing Up With Deaf Parents Bulelwa Madikane and Parents -Bulelwa Madikane has shared her amazing story of success despite numerous challenges - Madikane grew up as the eldest child of deaf parents and had to act as their interpreter throughout her childhood - The woman posted her story on Facebook and inspired people with her courage and determination. Her childhood was different from other children. Both parents are deaf and she had to help her parents communicate, one of the most challenging was at parent evenings when she had to help her dad and principal communicate. The stigma of the community was a challenge in itself and at times caused Bulelwa considerable concern. She also had power, being the eldest child, she matured faster than others and knew all the family secrets due to her acting as her parent's interpreter. Helene Wuillemin started a hunger strike few days ago to claim her right to die                                  HELENE WUILLEMIN One-hundred-year-old Helene Wuillemin started a hunger strike few days ago to claim her right to die due to old age, despite not suffering from any major ailments.   "Freedom is the motto of France but freedom is limited," she said at her home, before gesturing to a note hanging on her wall reading 'Freedom.'  The centenarian and former teacher is not in bad health but is in pain. She has decided to publicise her choice to help people like herself who want to choose when to die but can't go down the route of euthanasia due to legal restrictions. "I'm on a hunger striker to die," she explained.

NOKUPHILA KHUMALO - Proud owner of a fuel station Nokuphila Khumalo was so inspired by her petrol attendant father that she is now the proud owner of a BP fuel and service station. The 27-year-old is believed to be one of the youngest BP fuel dealers in the country. She bought her service station in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal, last year - nearly 40 years since her father last worked as a petrol attendant. He later became a police officer and a businessman. "At the moment I think I am the youngest black female in fuel and convenience. In most cases, I noticed there are females in the industry but [they] don't fully own the business. They are either assisting the fuel company in running the site or are in a partnership with other shareholders," Khumalo said. N-Power To Begin Enrollment For Third  Batch  On June…  Honourable Sadiya Umar Farouq The federal government is about to disengage the batch A and B beneficiaries of the N-Power scheme. The government said that the 500, 000 beneficiaries will be moving on to other public establishments. Honourable Sadiya Umar Farouq revealed that the online portal for fresh application will be opened by Friday, June 26. Farouq also disclosed that the Batch A and B of the programme comprising 500, 000 beneficiaries will be disengaged on Tuesday, June 30, and Friday, July 31, respectively. The minister said that the federal government has commenced the process of transitioning the beneficiaries into public and private establishments. Promising prospective applicants that there will be level playing ground for recruitment, she said: “The Federal government is committed to the continuation and expansion and as such will now begin enrolment and onboarding of a new batch of beneficiaries." MEET 98-year-old great-grandmother who just graduated from high school in America A 98-year-old  woman identified as Vivian Fisher who graduated from California has given reason to why people should not underestimate a black woman's drive to achieve excellence. The great-grandmother has made herself proud after obtaining certification from Monrovia High School.
